More UW love from Oregon

A little more praise for the Huskies today from the state of Oregon as the Eugene Register-Guard also rates UW No. 1 in its Pac-10 power rankings this week, as well as leading off its notebook with an item on Washington.
And Cal at No. 6? Was a loss to your rival on its floor after winning four in a row to start the season, two on the road, that bad?
Also something I hadn’t realized — WSU now has the longest current winning streak in the conference, indicative of how crazy things get during league play.
IN OTHER NEWS. …
— USC’s leading scorer, Dwight Lewis, sprained his ankle in practice Monday and his availability for the Trojans’ game at Washington Thursday is uncertain.
— And here are some good Pac-10 notes from The Oregonian.
All for now.
