Day after links

But it’s a nice, sunny morning after down here. …
— Here’s my story on last night’s game, with the admittedly really obvious theme that the Huskies just didn’t play defense
— The Tucson Citizen game story points out that Arizona’s 41-of-51 performance on free throws were both McKale Center records and that UA hit only three field goals in the last 11:18.
Greg Hansen, columnist for the Arizona Daily Star, says the win might have saved the season for the Wildcats.
— UW’s next opponent, Arizona State, suffered a surprising home loss to Washington State that continued a string of off-nights shooting — ASU shot 37 percent or worse in its three losses in the last four games. “We’ve got to make our shots,” ASU coach Herb Sendek said. “It’s probably no more complicated than that right now for our team.”
— The Oregonian has its usual good overview of the night in the Pac-10.
More later from UW’s practice.
