Gameday readings

A few links to start the day. …
— Here’s the preview from the Oregonian, noting that UW coach Lorenzo Romar expects a tougher game tonight. (And so far, no threats to rumble from Paul Buker).
— The preview box from the Oregonian notes that the Beavers will try some alternate ways to get the ball to Roeland Schaftenaar (and I’ll simply be glad when tonight is over so I don’t have to spell his name anymore, barring a meeting in the Pac-10 tourney which I will fight against with all my limited might).
— Good story from the Oregonian on how the whole Bracketology thing came about.
— The Corvallis paper says the Beavers are earning more respect (though one could argue that compared to last year’s team, it got more respect merely by walking on the court without bumping into everyone).
C.J. Wilcox scored 22 points for Pleasant Grove last night .
Nate Robinson was just a rebound shy of a triple-double last night with 33 points, 15 assists and nine rebounds.
— Here’s the Husky notebook from the UW Daily.
All for now. I’ll be back with the picks after the dentist finishes telling me now poorly I’ve been managing my teeth.
