Jump start party on tap again Thursday

The final Husky Hoops Jump Start party is scheduled for Thursday night prior to the Arizona State game — conveniently, the biggest game of the year.
Anyway, this event is open only to ticket holders.
It will be held from 5-8 p.m. in the Don James Center at Husky Stadium and is sponsored by the UW Alumni Association.
UW coach Lorenzo Romar will speak and there will be an an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet with beer, wine and soft drinks (though if they invited us sports writers, none of this would last long).
There will also be a live performance by the Husky Marching Band and Cheer Squad (lots better than a dead one), then walk (or stumble, depending on how early you got there) over to Hec Ed to begin cheering for the Huskies and yelling at the Pac-10 refs.
Cost is $25 for UWAA members and current UW students; $30 for non-members. To register, go to UWalum.com or call 1-800-AUW-ALUM
