Wednesday afternoon links

The links just keep on coming. …
— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller weighs in on the turnaround at Arizona State under Herb Sendek. One thing worth wondering, however, is just how solid a footing ASU is really on. Jeff Pendergraph is a senior and James Harden is certainly going to turn pro at the end of this season, which will leave two massive holes. ASU signed a decent class of three in the early period, but nothing that makes you think the Devils will just pick up where they leave off this season. Certainly, ASU is on the rise as an overall program. But the losses of Pendergraph and Harden will test just how stable things really are next year.
— A good nuts-and-bolts preview of tomorrow night’s game from the East Valley Tribune.
— Interesting story out of the Bay Area as Stanford has decided to sell some of the seats in its student section to the general public. The way that team seems headed, they may not be able to give tickets away to anybody pretty soon.
— The Oregonian ponders who might win some of the Pac-10 awards and concludes that Justin Dentmon seems likely to get the Most Improved Player award. (As I wrote earlier, he seems almost a lock for it).
Jon Brockman calls the ASU contest “the biggest game of my career” on his Twitter page.
All for now.
