Dave Libbey in the house

I’ve arrived at Hec Ed, about two-and-a-half hours to tipoff.
Also arriving at some point in the next hour or so will be Dave Libbey, who will serve as the head official for tonight’s game — it just wouldn’t be a Pac-10 Game of the Year without him, would it?
Libbey is the official Pac-10 fans seem to love to hate the most, something Bud Withers of our staff detailed well earlier this year.
Libbey has actually officiated just one over UW game this year, the home win against UCLA. He’s often been known for his for not being afraid to make the big call against the home team, such as the controversial foul in the final seconds in ASU’s win at Arizona earlier this year that Withers detailed in his column.
The other officials tonight are Michael Greenstein, who hasn’t done any UW games this year; and Tony Padilla, who was the head guy for UW’s win at Stanford, and the home game against USC, and the road game at Oregon State.
As I type this, Artem Wallace and Joe Wolfinger are on the court playing a game of horse. No idea who is winning, but the game started with Wallace sinking about a 27-footer and then Wolfinger following with a make of his own from the same spot to hold serve.
