Morning after links

Lots to read on the morning after one of the bigger wins in recent UW history. …
— One item from our paper I didn’t link last night was our photo gallery.
— Here’s the recap from ESPN.com along with accompanying highlights.
— The newest Bracketology, updated this morning, has UW as a No. 4 seed and playing in Portland against American, a team that features Issaquah High grad Garrison Carr. UW beat American at home a couple of years ago. Then would come another possible game with UConn in the Sweet 16. Bracketologist Joe Lunardi will have a chat at noon if you want to ask him any questions.
— CBSSports.com had UW as a No. 4 a couple of days ago and playing in Portland against Virginia Commonwealth.
— The Oregonian has all kinds of links in its daily Pac-10 notes, which leads off with a note on UW’s standing atop the Pac-10.
Nick Daschel of Buster Sports says it’s time to start taking Lorenzo Romar seriously as Pac-10 Coach of the Year.
— The guy from Yahoo Sports finally has UW atop his Pac-10 power rankings.
— The Arizona Daily Star has the lowdown on how the Wildcats lost in Pullman last night while wondering if UA can get back up for UW tomorrow. Apparently a big part of it was that WSU put backup guard Marcus Capers on Nic Wise in the second half to slow him down. Wise killed UW the first time with 29 points. Here’s another view from the Tucson Citizen.
— UW is up to 15th in the Pomeroy ratings, and he seems the Huskies running the table in the regular season to finish 24-7.
All for now.
