Monday a.m. links

Nothing like a good snow storm on the day after we “spring forward,” huh?
For that reason, these are truncated links as I try to hightail up to UW in time for interviews later.
— I wrote a story today on UW’s increased defensive prowess this season, which has been a key to the year and will be a key going forward.
— The Oregonian has a little story on Oregon native Joe Wolfinger (though no real mention of what the future may hold).
— The Oregonian also has this on the status of Ducks coach Ernie Kent, with a headline calling him “on the bubble” entering the Pac-10. tourney. It can’t hurt that the Ducks got a big commitment from forward Jamil Wilson on Sunday.
I’m anticipating the Pac-10 awards coming today, so there should be lots to discuss throughout the day as we count down to the beginning of the conference tournament later this week.
