A few late-night notes

As the title says. …
— For those still wondering what may happen to DeMarcus Cousins, Rivals.com reports that “the odds are very strong” that he is soon to commit to Kentucky.
— In nothing of a surprise, Arizona big man Jordan Hill is also expected to announce this week he will declare for the NBA while guard Nic Wise is likely to explore his options.
— ESPN’s Andy Katz concludes in this story on the hiring of Sean Miller that if all three of those players leave, then “the Wildcats will likely be picked to finish last” in the Pac-10 next season. My money’s still on Stanford to end up there.
Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star looks back at Budinger’s decision of a year ago to stay and concludes that he likely didn’t help himself. Of course, hard to know what would have happened if Lute Olson hadn’t stepped down for good just before the season started.
