Budinger gone, Harden going and other links

No surprise here as The Sporting News is reporting that Arizona’s Chase Budinger will soon officially announce that he is declaring for the NBA draft.
Cal’s Patrick Christopher — who has not hired an agent and is expected to return — is technically the only Pac-10 player who has so far officially declared his intent to test the waters. The deadline is April 26 so there isn’t a real rush.
However, the Arizona Republic is also reporting today that ASU’s James Harden has decided to turn pro and that an official announcement will be made Wednesday.
In this really informative look around the Pac-10, Republic ASU beat writer Doug Haller says the Sun Devils will now pursue 6-10 center Kyryla Natyazhko, regarded as the top unsigned or uncommitted center in the country. However, he had also visited Xaiver and Haller also speculates that Arizona could get in the running for his services now that it has hired away Xavier coach Sean Miller.
Miller’s hire might also help Arizona regain Solomon Hill, a forward who had committed to UA, then decommitted after the coaching change this fall and committed to USC.
The Oregonian looks at both new coaching hires in the conference yesterday and also provides its usual bevy of links.
All for now.
