Seasons over for Hawes, Conroy, Jones

The seasons are over for three notable UW alums playing pro basketball in the states — Spencer Hawes, Will Conroy and Bobby Jones.
Hawes suffered a minor knee injury earlier this week and will miss Sacramento’s season finale tonight against Minnesota. (He suffered the injury in rather controversial fashion, which you can read about here).
That means he will end the season having averaged 11.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 46 percent (here are his complete stats), all numbers that are a significant upgrade from his rookie season (4.7, 3.2, 0.6) and indicate that he’s on track to having a long and productive NBA career.
Hawes was particularly effective at the end of the season as he averaged 14.6 points and 15.6 points the last two months of the season.
Jones and Conroy each competed in the NBA Developmental League with teams that didn’t make the playoffs, so their seasons are over.
Conroy averaged 26.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and eight assists for Albuquerque while Jones averaged 16.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists for Sioux Falls.
