Sidney changing mind?

USC’s fortunes next season could be taking a bit hit as there are reports that Renardo Sidney may be changing his mind on his commitment and instead signing with Mississippi State — he is originally from Mississippi.
Scout.com has the report here . It’s a pay story, but so far, it’s the only one out there. No quotes from Sidney, just a report that sources indicate Sidney visited Mississippi State this weekend and may be changing his mind, having first thought about doing so when Trojan coach Tim Floyd interviewed for the Arizona job.
With Sidney, regarded as one of the best HS big men in the country, the Trojans figured to still contend for the top half of the Pac-10 next season. Without him and some of the others who are or appear to be leaving — Daniel Hackett, DeMar DeRozan, maybe Taj Gibson — USC will find it that much harder to contend.
The LA Times reported earlier in the week that Sidney had gotten a qualifying test score but that his signing with USC was not necessarily imminent, foreshadowing what apparently may have happened this weekend.
