Hawes ruffles some feathers in Sacramento

Interesting column today from the Sacramento Bee on the decision of former Husky Spencer Hawes to skip playing with the Kings in the Las Vegas Summer League.
In short, columnist Ailene Voisin says Hawes missed a lot by not being at the first summer league session under new coach Paul Westphal. However, she also notes that Hawes has arranged for some individual workouts in Sacramento this week, apparently trying to make up what he missed in Vegas.
Voisin also had this much more laudatory column on Jon Brockman earlier in the week.
