The latest news and analysis on Husky men's hoops.

A few notes and links

Sorry for the inattention to the hoops blog of late. Just haven’t run into a lot of news and also had a lot of football commitments the last week. But here are a few things. …
— The Huskies have been hosting an Elite Camp for high school players this weekend at Hec Ed and many of the current UW players have been helping out. That group includes Tyreese Breshers, who is the only real health question mark for UW right now. I talked briefly with UW coach Lorenzo Romar the other day who said Breshers is doing some full-court work and is just about ready to go. “He’s on the way back,” Romar said. So sounds like, barring any complications that arise now, he’ll be ready when the season begins.
Justin Dentmon has also been hanging around the gym this week and Romar said the guard is still weighing some overseas options.
Chuck Stark of the Kitsap Sun has a really good story on the summer hoops scene in Las Vegas that mentions Romar and Ken Bone and some others.
Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports lists the UW-Georetown game as the 18th best non-conference matchup of the season.
— Here’s a new fan blog devoted to UW hoops called Montlake Madness that has some good stuff to pass the summer basketball-less days.
All for now.
