Good look around the Pac-10 from ESPN

ESPN’s College Basketball Shootaround series today hits the Pac-10, with a look at what has happened in the off-season and the year ahead.
Included is a prediction from Doug Gottlieb picking UW second — and somewhat surprisingly the Beavers third, though I am in agreement with him that OSU could be one of the real surprise teams in the nation this year — as well as Andy Katz’s assessment that the Huskies aren’t challenging themselves much with their non-conference schedule. Katz writes that UW’s schedule won’t get the Huskies much attention the first two months of the season and that the Huskies are too good to be in obscurity for two months. One rumble I’ve heard of late is that the UW non-conference schedules are likely to get a little tougher in coming seasons.
