Isaiah Thomas Q&A

As noted by a reader, MontlakeMadness.com had a very nice interview with UW sophomore Isaiah Thomas. Here’s the link.
I had a chance to watch a few minutes the Huskies during an open-gym workout today before heading down to football practice. Pretty standard stuff. It’s worth noting, Matthew Bryan-Amaning looks leaner and explosive.
As the Oct. 16 start of training camp gets closer, I’ll stop by more often on the open-gym games. A school official said the individual workouts with coaches, however, are restricted.
Also, newly-signed Atlanta Hawks swingman Jamal Crawford has been a regular on campus, working out with the Huskies. Former UW Jamaal Williams also took part in some games on Wednesday as noted here on the UW’s blog.

DraftExpress.com finishes its look at the Pac-10’s top 10 NBA draft prospects with Nos. 6-10. This report has Thomas at No. 9 behind USC’s SG Dwight Lewis, UCLA PF Drew Gordon and UCLA PG Jerime Anderson. Cal G Jerome Randle rounds out the list.
