Poll results are in and the winners are ….

Thanks to everyone who participated in yesterday’s poll. I’ve closed the polls and will write more extensively about them for Friday’s paper. But here’s the results.
How many games will Washington win?
— 54 percent (1,522) chose 29-25.
— 36 percent (1,034) chose 24-20.
— 7 percent (209) chose 30 or more
— 2 percent (60) chose 19-15
— And less than 1 percent (13) chose less than 14.
Which team will win the Pac-10 title?
— 72 percent (2,028) chose Washington.
— 20 percent (560) chose Cal.
— 7 percent (204) chose UCLA.
— Less than 1 percent (27) chose another team.
— And less than 1 percent (17) picked Arizona.
How far will Washington advance?
— 67 percent (1,839) chose Sweet 16.
— 17 percent (459) chose Final Four.
— 13 percent (346) chose first or second round.
— 3 percent (90) chose championship game
— And less than 1 percent (21) chose will miss the NCAA tournament.
[Editor’s note: I would have included a choice for Elite Eight, but thought I was limited in my choices in the poll.]
Who will be Washington’s MVP?
— 50 percent (1,377) chose Quincy Pondexter.
— 43 percent (1,194) chose Isaiah Thomas.
— 4 percent (103) chose Abdul Gaddy.
— 2 percent (51) chose Venoy Overton.
— And 2 percent (42) chose someone else.
Again, thanks for the feedback. It gives me an idea of what Husky fans are thinking. I’d like to do something like this on a regular basis. If you’ve got poll questions, let me know and we may throw it up on the blog.
