Highlights from Quincy Pondexter’s live chat

Good job by Quincy Pondexter today with the live chat. Here’s a recap for those who didn’t join in and don’t have time to read the transcript.
— Seattle University men’s basketball coach Cameron Dollar, the former UW assistant, chimed in and asked: “Do you miss me?” Pondexter replied: “I miss every part about you being here. Best of luck, except against us!”
— Pondexter said his cumulative GPA is 3.0 and he was on the Dean’s List with a 3.7 GPA as a sophomore.
— Other than a Husky, Pondexter said the best players in the Pac-10 are Cal’s Jerome Randle and Pat Christopher and Stanford’s Landry Fields.
— Pondexter said he doesn’t go out clubbing and never had a drink “because I promised myself as a kid I wouldn’t until I became successful in whatever line of work I had.”
— Pondexter is 21, wears size 15 shoes, lives off-campus with UW linebacker Matt Houston. He owns an Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. His favorite teriyaki spot is University Teriyaki. His favorite fried chicken spot is Ezell’s and Catfish Corner. And he’s picking New York over Philadelphia in the World Series.
— If he hadn’t picked UW, Pondexter would have gone to school at Arizona, Conneciticut or Fresno State. He said the team had flu shots and the toughest defender he’s played against are former WSU star Kyle Weaver and Venoy Overton.
