Lorenzo Romar ends debate with Mark Few

A week ago all anyone could talk about was the potential of Washington and Gonzaga renewing their series. Well, a terse reply from Bulldogs AD Mike Roth and coach Mark Few’s comment about the game’s chances being “about the same as Bigfoot having my baby,” put the kibosh on UW’s proposal.
Still, I thought it was worth it to ask coach Lorenzo Romar what he thought of Few’s comments.

(What did you think of the Few’s Bigfoot comment?)
“The entire comment or the Bigfoot comment in particular?”

(The Bigfoot comment. Did it go too far.)
“Well if you’re asking did it bother me? I wouldn’t say that. I think in his mind he was just really trying to paint a picture of how slim a chance [there is] of it happening. I’d say that would probably be hard to happen, Bigfoot having his baby, I mean.”
(Where are things now?) “We move on at this point. We haven’t had any other discussions. At this point, we’re not going to do it. So there’s no game. It’s a dead issue at this point.”
