Washington men’s basketball analyst Jason Hamilton shares his thoughts after the Huskies perfect weekend performances against Wright State, Belmont and Portland State.

RECRUITING NOTE:


— We noted last week Josh Smith hadn’t signed his letter of intent with UCLA. Well, the Kentwood High star, who considered Washington, will sign finally sign his letter with the Bruins tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Rotary Boys and Girls Club.
TUESDAY MORNING LINKS:
— Here’s our story on Quincy Pondexter, who won his first Pac-10 Player of the week award.
— We’ve said it for weeks, but last night we got proof: UCLA is in trouble. The Bruins dropped their opener 68-65 in double overtime at home to Cal State Fullerton.
— Washington State needed a big shot from Klay Thompson in the final minute and struggled to beat Eastern Washington.
Dime Magazine caught up with Abdul Gaddy and offers this Q&A interview.
