California senior guard Patrick Christopher (left, No. 23) has been named the Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. It’s the first time the award has been given to someone outside of Washington state.
UW’s Quincy Pondexter and WSU’s Klay Thompson are two-time winners this season.
Christopher led the Golden Bears to a 79-54 victory over Pacific after scoring 22 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, notching his second-straight double-double.
Also Nominated: Arizona State’s Derek Glasser; Stanford’s Landry Fields; USC’s Alex Stepheson and WSU’s Reggie Moore.
