Some love for Quincy Pondexter

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Really. Your comments are only going to make this blog better. I hear the call for more links, so I’ll try to provide at least one post a day with links to Pac-10 and national college basketball news.
AROUND THE PAC-10:
— Let’s start with a story from Jason King at Rivals.com who puts Quincy Pondexter on his second team all-american team. WSU’s Klay Thompson is on the third team.
— Oregon State coach Craig Robinson told the Oregonian: “If OSU holds its own on the boards, limits turnovers, keeps the Huskies’ vaunted transition game in check and handles Washington’s full-court pressure, ‘then we’ve got a shot.’
— It’s a little old but the Oregonian’s Paul Buker gives an update on the Beavers.
Bob Clark at the Register-Guard challenges readers to find a better spot for the Ducks in the power rankings. He has Oregon eighth.
— I can’t go a day without reading Doug Haller’s blog. He has a nice post today on Arizona State, but earlier this week he took a look at the Pac-10 with this post and this one.
Scott Johnson at the Everett Herald offers a Pac-10 preview.
— UW’s Matthew Bryan-Amaning told the Seattlepi.com: “I haven’t so far had the season I would like.”
Don Ruiz at the New Tribune writes about the past decade for Husky hoops.
Seth Davis at SI.com chimes in on Washington.
— In his weekly power rankings, Mike DeCourcy at The Sporting News has Washington State atop the Pac-10. Wow. That’s out there.
MontlakeMadness.com takes a look at tomorrow’s game against OSU.
Vince Grippi at the Spokesman.com gives the links and Washington State analysis on his blog.
Not everyone in Los Angeles has fallen in love with USC guard Mike Gerrity.
UCLA is preparing to face Arizona State’s tough zone.
