Pac-10 links and picks

Little bit of a late start today because of laptop issues. Oh well. Let’s begin the afternoon with some links.
AROUND THE PAC-10:
Bud Withers examines the controversial ending to the Oregon-Washington State game.
— In our story on UW, coach Lorenzo Romar says he’s more concerned about the team’s offensive woes than whether its overly cocky.
— Freshman guard Abdul Gaddy told the Everett Herald: “From now on, we can go on a 16-game winning streak.”
— Oregon State plays Seattle U. tonight and Bob Condotta offers this preview.
— And here’s the Oregonian’s preview.
— Here’s a view from Phoenix. Arizona State is 0-2 and the Sun Devils host UW on Friday in what feels like a big game for ASU.
— It’s the last season the Oregon Ducks will play at MacArthur Court and the school has planned a season-long celebration. When UW plays there March 4, Dick Harter, who led UO’s Kamikaze Kids as head coach from 1971-78, will be recognized as the honorary captain.
George Dohrmann at SI.com writes USC didn’t do enough and the NCAA should impose further sanctions on the Trojans.
TONIGHT’S GAMES:
Seattle at Oregon State, 5:30 p.m.
USC at Stanford, 7 p.m.
UCLA at California, 7:30 p.m.
My picks: OSU, USC and Cal
Pac-10 record: 5-4.
