Washington junior Justin Holiday did not make the trip to Arizona and will miss the next two games because of an eligibility issue.
Coach Lorenzo Romar had hoped to get the issue resolved before tonight’s game at Arizona State.
“It’s just something that has to be cleared up,” Romar said.
Romar said the problem was not related to academics, but declined to provide many other details.
Holiday, one of UW’s defensive standouts, is averaging 3.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 14.7 minutes in 13 games.
Washington will have just 11 players available and 10 scholarship players.
