Jon Brockman will attend tonight’s UW-Cal game

Former UW star Jon Brockman told KJR’s Dave Mahler he’s planning to attend tonight’s UW game at California.
It will be his first Husky game since turning pro. Brockman was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers last year and traded on draft night to the Sacramento Kings.
Here’s the audio clip.
“They have all of the potential in the world,” Brockman told KJR. “They have so much talent. …. They have all the capability to do it, they just need to get it done on the road.”
In a wide-ranging interview, Brockman talked about sporting a baby blue Tinker Bell backpack given to him by veteran Kings players and starting a couple of games in place of good friend and ex-Husky Spencer Hawes.
Brockman said he needs to improve his defense against smaller players and his outside shot if he wants to stay in the NBA.
