Poll question: Who wins the Pac-10 Player of the Year award?

California senior point guard Jerome Randle won the Pac-10 Player of the Week award for the first time this season and the third time in his career.
Last week, Randle averaged 28.5 points, shooting 19-for-36 (53 percent) from the field, including 64 percent (9-for-14) from behind the arc and 91 percent (10-for-11) from the free throw line, respectively.
In Thursday’s 93-81 win over the Huskies, he scored 21 of his 33 points in the first half on 12-for-19 (63 percent) from the floor. It was his second 30-point outing of the season and third of his career.
In Saturday’s 86-70 victory over the Cougars, Randle scored 24 points on 7-for-17 shooting (41 percent), including 6-for-9 (67 percent) from three-point land as the Golden Bears erased an 11-point halftime deficit.
Randle has led the conference-leading Golden Bears to a 17-8 record overall, 9-4 in conference.
Meanwhile, Quincy Pondexter has carried the Huskies to 17-8, 7-6. He’s won the weekly award four times and as we noted, every player whose won the award four times in a season has claimed the Player of the Year trophy.
Stanford senior Landry Fields can also make a strong case. He’s first in scoring, second in rebounding and fourth in steals.
So who wins this year? Only three weeks remain in the regular season.
