Joe Lunardi says game “might not be close,” picks MU

ESPN bracket guru Joe Lunardi chimed in with thoughts on Thursday’s game. He said Marquette is too tough for the Huskies and believes the game might not be close.

AROUND THE PAC-10:
— Maybe it is a down year for the conference. Many believed Arizona State, the Pac-10 conference regular-season runner-up, deserved a spot in the NCAA tournament. The Sun Devils settled for a No. 1 seed in the 32-team NIT, but bowed out early. ASU lost 67-66 to No. 8 Jacksonville on a last-second shot in front of a small 2,968 at Wells Fargo Arena.
Ernie Kent made a final appearance as Oregon coach and admitted he was given the choice back in February to either resign on the spot or coach the rest of the season before being terminated. With Kent gone, coach Lorenzo Romar is the longest-tenured coach in the Pac-10.
