Former UW Standout Brandon Roy Has Knee Injury

Tuesday morning links:
— Oregon assistant Kenny Payne told the Oregonian that rumors he’s going to Kentucky are not true. That’s good news for UW fans pining for Portland standout Terrence Jones.
— On it’s subscriber site, ESPN.com’s Chad Ford writes about Jones, calling him the fourth most intriguing prospect at last Saturday’s Nike Hoop Summit.
— Arizona coach Sean Miller covers a variety of issues in an interview with the Arizona Daily Star. Miller said Nic Wise’s brother Dondre would return next season as a non-scholarship player. Dondre had a scholarship last season, but it was guaranteed for just one season. That seems a little odd.
— UCLA handed out team awards on Monday. Senior guard Michael Roll was the Bruins’ MVP.
— The Pac-10 assembled it’s final notes for the basketball season.
— In case you missed it, California’s Jerome Randle was named the MVP of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.
— It’s a little old, but USC coach Kevin O’Neill denied tampering charges that Rutgers reportedly will file against the Trojans regarding transfer Mike Rosario.
