Lorenzo Romar Press Conference Today at 3:30 PM

I know folks want some type of resolution on the Terrence Jones issue, but we’ll just have to wait. As for updates, well really what more is there left to say? The only real news can only come from Jones or his parents and they’re not talking at the moment.
But coach Lorenzo Romar will talk this afternoon. He’ll meet the media at 3:30 to discuss signing Terrence Ross, the four-star 6-5 shooting guard from Portland. I’ll also try to get Romar to discuss recruiting in general, but he can’t talk specifically about a prospective student-athlete.
MONDAY MORNING LINKS:
Steve Kelley goes after Kentucky coach John Calipari.
— Several posters linked this story out of Kentucky to the previous post about the UK team and its low grade-point average, which is the worst in the SEC and the lowest for the Wildcats since 2002.
— A photo of former Avery Bradley, the former Tacoma standout and Texas freshman guard, is on the front page of ESPN.com’s college basketball page over a couple of stories about the 80 players who have declared early for the draft. They’re both subscription stories, but Fran Fraschilla urges Bradley to return to school.
— The Oregonian profiles new coach Dana Altman.
