Wear Twins Make It Offical And Sign With UCLA

UCLA confirmed the multiple news outlets that reported Travis and David Wear (pictured, left to right) signed a financial aid agreement with the Bruins and will enroll in the fall.
The Wear twins, a pair of McDonald’s All-Americans, transferred from North Carolina after one year with the Tar Heels.
They’ll sit out and redshirt the 2010-11 season per NCAA rules and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
UCLA released a statement from Bruins coach Ben Howland who is ecstatic about landing the 6-10, 230-pound post players.
If freshmen Reeves Nelson and Tyler Honeycutt and Kentwood High incoming freshman Joshua Smith remain after the upcoming season, UCLA will have a potentially dominant front line in 2011-12.
