Brockman to chat, Robinson to pitch

A couple notices to pass along:
Jon Brockman is scheduled to hold a live chat with Seattle Times’ readers Wednesday at 1 p.m.
Nate Robinson is scheduled to throw out the first pitch before the Mariners’ game with the Red Sox Friday night.
Brockman obviously should have a lot to talk about as his trade to the Milwaukee Bucks should become final soon (while there are reports it is done, the teams have yet to announce it).
As for Robinson, his throwing out the first pitch reminds me of an interview I did with him before his final year at UW when he insisted he not only wanted to play in the NFL some day but also Major League Baseball. He said he figured he could at least be a pinch-runner or a utility player or something. Friday, he’ll at least get a jersey.
