Isaiah Thomas on preseason list for the Wooden Award

Washington guard Isaiah Thomas was one of 50 players named to the preseason list for the John R. Wooden Award.
Thomas, a 5-foot-9 junior guard, was one of six players on the list. Klay Thompson, a 6-6 junior guard at Washington State, was also named.
Gonzaga had two players on the list, 6-5 senior guard Steven Gray and 6-7 sophomore forward Elias Harris.
Freshmen, transfers and medical redshirts are not eligible for the preseason list, but can be added in December. In March, a final ballot of approximately 20 players is determined. At the end of the season, a 10-player All-America team and the Wooden Award winner are selected.
Note: I’ve been having technical difficulties with my computer and hope to have them sorted out tomorrow so I can get back to more regular blogging.
