Norvel Pelle will reportedly visit UW this weekend

According to Adam Zagoria, 6-ffoot-9 Los Angeles center Norvel Pelle will visit Washington and attend UW’s season-opener against McNeese State.
Pelle, who is considered a four-star recruit by ESPN.com and Scout.com, told Zangoria Sunday night that he’s going to make his decision after visiting the Huskies.
His final two choices include UW and St. John’s, which he visited over the weekend.
Pelle said he plans to sign during the early-signing period that begins Wednesday and ends Nov. 17.
MONDAY MORNING LINKS:
Derrick Williams proved he’s in midseason form during Arizona’s 70-59 exhibition win over Augustana of South Dakota, however, Bruce Pascoe at the Arizona Daily Star believes the game exposed a few Wildcat weakness especially on the defensive end.
— The Long Beach Press-Telegram unveiled it’s annual Best in the West list on Saturday and the 15-player team includes Garfield High senior Tony Wroten Jr., who committed to Washington. The Huskies are also pursuing two other players on the list, forward Angelo Chol and Pelle.
— Very informative story on Chol, the Sudan native who grew seven inches in two years, by ESPN Rise Magazine.
— Washington State gained a commitment from 6-foot-7 Greg Sequele, according to ESPN.com’s subscriber site. The Los Angeles forward is considered a three-star recruit and joins Tacoma’s Curtis High point guard Davonte Lacy.
