Pac-10 announces future Pac-12 basketball schedules

The new Pac-12 conference, which added Colorado and Utah, begins next season and will still play 18 conference games. The league, however, was forced to scrap the true round robin format in which every team played everyone else twice.
The conference announced the future schedules and in 2011-12 and 2012-13, UW will play California, Stanford, Colorado and Utah once.
The rotating 10-year cycle has the Huskies playing USC, UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State just once in 2013-14 and 2014-15. In 2015-16 and 2016-17 they face Oregon, OSU, Cal and Stanford just once.
Washington will play Arizona, ASU, USC and UCLA once in 2017-18 and 2018-19 and then Colorado, Utah, Oregon and OSU once in 2019-20 and 2020-2021.
Some 2011-12 highlights:
— The Huskies tip off conference play at home against Oregon State on Dec. 29 and Oregon on Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve.
— UW plays at Colorado Jan. 5 and Utah Jan. 7 in its first conference games against those teams.
— The Huskies play Stanford and California for their only time on Jan. 19 and 21 in Seattle.
— UW meets Washington State Jan. 14 at Edmundson Pavilion. The rematch is Feb. 25 in Pullman.
— UW plays at Arizona on Jan. 26 and Arizona State on Jan. 28 before returning home to host UCLA on Feb. 2 and USC on Feb. 4.
— UW plays at Oregon Feb. 9 and Oregon State Feb. 11.
— The Huskies final regular-season home games are against ASU Feb. 16 and Arizona Feb. 18.
