Washington’s new look

Washington will unveil a new uniform and basketball shoe that was made specifically for the Maui Invitational.
The Huskies will wear Nike’s Elite Uniforms that features a ghosted design on the back of the school’s Suzzallo Library with “W” just below the numbers and the words “Bow Down To Washington” at the bottom along a banner.
On his travel blog, Justin Holiday said he saw prints of the new uniforms last week and the team calls them the Duke uniforms because the Blue Devils were one of the first teams to wear them.
“It is real cool to have uniforms with different designs and to know that we’re getting them because we’re considered an elite team,” Holiday wrote.
UW will also wear Nike shoes with the words Maui on one and “No Ka Oi” on the other. The translation: Maui is unparallel.
