Pollsters penalize UW for two losses in Hawaii

Following a 1-2 showing at the Maui Invitational, which included a pair of defeats to top 10 ranked teams, Washington dropped 10 spots in the Associated Press poll to No. 23 today.
The Huskies (3-2) check in at No. 22 in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll. They were 11th last week.
No other Pac-10 team is ranked and only Arizona (5-1) received any votes from the pollsters.
Duke (6-0) is the unanimous No. 1 pick in both polls.
