Updated rankings; Derrick Williams wins Pac-10 POW

Washington’s blowout win over Long Beach State last week hardly impressed the pollsters who improved the Huskies two spots in the Associated Press rankings to No. 21, but kept them at No. 22 in the USA Today/ESPN coaches’ poll.
Here’s a look at both rankings. UW remains the only Pac-10 team in the polls.
In other news, the conference coaches selected Arizona sophomore Derrick Williams the Pac-10 Player of the Week after he averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in wins over Rice and Oklahoma.
Washington senior Justin Holiday was one of five players nominated.
2010-11 Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Nov. 29 – Klay Thompson, WSU
