Video highlights: Nevada

The highlights produced by Washington’s video department tell the story of last night’s 90-60 win over Nevada.

THURSDAY MORNING LINKS:
— Our game story focused on Isaiah Thomas who had his best game of the season.
Luke Winn at SI.com says Washington is one of four teams that are unranked, but should be considered dangerous.
— Big game today for Washington State which plays No. 15 Baylor in the second round of the Diamond Head Classic. The Cougars had no problems in yesterday’s 83-57 win over Mississippi State. The Bears also won easily.
— UCLA will play tonight without leading scorer Tyler Honeycutt who sprained his right AC joint on Tuesday in a 75-59 win over Montana State. An X-ray and MRI exams on the injured shoulder showed no serious injury, however, he’s going to rest until the Bruins Pac-10 opener next week against Washington State.
— Probably the last guy I’d want to mess with in the Pac-10 is Cal’s Jorge Gutierrez who got into it last night with Kansas forward Thomas Robinson during the Golden Bears’ 78-63 loss at home last night.
— Junior college transfer Jesse Perry replaced struggling senior Jamelle Horne in the starting lineup and Arizona cruised to an 82-56 win over Robert Morris in final game before the Pac-10 season begins.
Craig Robinson’s mother Marian aka “The First Grandma” was the biggest star in a small crowd last night during Oregon State’s 74-54 victory against Illinois-Chicago.
