BLOWOUT AGAIN — Bryan-Amaning rejected Burton’s layup before falling out of bounds. His block led to a Gant layup. On the other end, Cunningham thought he had a layup, but Gant sent it flying out of bounds. UW 82-62, 4:48.
BEAVERS STILL BATTLING — Oregon State is not going away easily. The Beavers are on a 7-2 run. By the way, I’m slowing down. Got to write the game story. UW 73-60, 6:54.
IT’S OFFICIAL — We’re in blowout territory. UW 71-53, 8:33.
ENTERING BLOWOUT TERRITORY — Meanwhile the Huskies are pulling away again. UW 64-50, 11:30.
SEAHAWKS WIN — Seahawks won 41-36. Big cheers at Hec Ed. They’re playing the Dancing Dawgs on the big screen.

STILL RUNNING — Bryan-Amaning sank another layup and Suggs drained a three. UW 56-41.

GOOD START — Bryan-Amaning scored and Overton picked off a pass that led to a layup. UW 44-39, 18:31.
SECOND HALF — Same starters.
HALFTIME OBSERVATIONS — Good finish to a game that was a little sluggish early on, but has picked up in the late stages. The Huskies lead, but they haven’t figured out the Beavers just yet. OSU controlled most of the first half and Robinson is mixing up the zone. He’s changing between a 1-3-1 look and a 2-3 zone. If not for Thomas’ three three-pointers, the Huskies would not have their lead. Thomas has 14 points on 4-for-7 shooting. He also has three assists.
For some reason, UW hasn’t looked for Bryan-Amaning enough. Not sure why. He scores or gets a good shot every time. He is 4 of 5 for 10 points. He also has five rebounds. Thomas and Bryan-Amaning are leading the way. It seems as if UW is waiting for somebody else to catch fire from the outside. It hasn’t been Ross, Holiday, Suggs or Wilcox.
Meanwhile, Cunningham is playing well for OSU. He has 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting. The Beavers also received some wild or lucky shots from Ahmad Starks and Haynes. OSU is 6 for 9 on three-pointers. We’ll see if the Beavers can maintain that red-hot shooting.
HALFTIME STATS — Click here.
HALFTIME — Nelson sank a running jumper and Overton countered. He drove the length of the court and sank a floating short runner as time expired. UW has led at halftime in every game this season. UW 40-39.
SUGGS HITS A THREE — The crowd is in it now. Suggs puts UW up 38-37.
BRYAN-AMANING TAKING OVER — Bryan-Amaning took a blow and sank a tough putback. On the other end, he grabbed a rebound and started a fast break. OSU 37-35, 1:01.
BONUS TIME — UW is in the bonus. Thomas converted two free throws. OSU 37-33, 2:41.
CUNNINGHAM LEADING THE WAY — Cunningham and Thomas are putting on a show. Cunningham has 14 points, Thomas 12. Cunningham has two treys, Thomas three. OSU 34-28, 3:45.
GREAT BLOCKS — Overton stuffed Johnson’s layup and Holiday blocked Cunningham’s dunk attempt. OSU 29-25, 5:17.
LUCKY PLAY, NICE PLAY — Overton drove into the lane, jumped in the air with seemingly nowhere to go before finding Bryan-Amaning with a short pass. Bryan-Amaning finished with a spinning layup despite being fouled. OSU 23-21.
HOLIDAY ON THE SPOT — Holiday collected his second putback. He’s hustling. He’s all around the glass, which is probably a good thing because he’s 0-for-3 on treys. OSU 23-18, 6:53.
THOMAS LIMPING — Thomas looked as if he came down on Wallace’s foot. Thomas is jogged gingerly off the court after collecting the foul. OSU is firmly in control. The Beavers have set the pace, which is slow and methodical. OSU 21-16, 7:46.
COLD SHOOTING — UW is 1 for 8 on three-pointers. OSU 19-16, 8:12.
WILCOX CHECKS IN — C.J. Wilcox is in the game. Suggs is out. OSU 19-14, 10:01.

FIRST SUBS — Terrence Ross, Scott Suggs and Darnell Gant check in for UW. Overton, Holiday and N’Diaye sit down. OSU 12-10, 14:04.
BIG POSSESSION — The Beavers are trapping everywhere. In the corner. On the wing. At the top of the key. The Huskies were scrambling and looked as if they would commit a second straight turnover before swinging the ball around and finding Thomas at the top of the key for an open three-pointer. Still, UW is having problems with the zone and the Beavers are rolling offensively. OSU 11-6, 15:22.
MATCHUPS — Thomas has Haynes and Overton is on Cunningham. Holiday has Johnson, but he’s mostly floating. Bryan-Amaning is on Brandt. Brandt collected a steal on Overton’s bad pass. OSU 8-3, 16:50.
EARLY DEFICIT — Brandt 5, UW 2 at 17:49.
TIP OFF — N’Diaye wins the tip over Cunnigham.
STARTING LINEUPS — UW: Same starters. Isaiah Thomas, Overton, Justin Holiday, Matthew Bryan-Amaning and Aziz N’Diaye.
OSU: G Jared Cunningham, G Calvin Haynes, C Angus Brandt, F Omari Johnson and F Devon Collier.
COACHES SAY HELLO — You can tell Lorenzo Romar and Craig Robinson share a mutual admiration. They embraced at midcourt and they’re having a private conversation. Both are smiling and appear to be enjoying themselves.
HAWKS HALFTIME — Hawks lead 24-20 at the break.
OVERTON GETS THE START — Venoy Overton will start again tonight.
DAWG PACK LOWDOWN — Just got handed a the scouting report from the Dawg Pack and let’s just say it’s somewhat salacious. If I printed that, not sure I’d have a job the next day. But looks like someone did a lot of work and there’s good information there.
HAWK TIME — We’re about 40 minutes away from tip off and with the exception of a Dawg Pack, Hec Ed is practically empty. Figures to be late-arriving crowd. Many of the folks here are following the Seahawks game on their mobile phones.
