Poll position: UW goes up and Arizona falls out

Washington improved two spots in the Associated Press rankings to No. 18 and the Huskies went up three spots to No. 17 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches rankings following a home sweep last week of Arizona and Arizona State.
The Wildcats, ranked No. 25 in the coaches poll, dropped to 27th in the ranking. They’re also 27th in the AP poll.
Washington is No. 22 in the RPI rankings.
The Huskies are also sixth in Ken Pomeroy’s latest rating.
