UW Men’s Basketball 2010-11 Highlights

FRIDAY MORNING LINKS:
— Last week Washington incoming freshman Tony Wroten Jr. participated in the Nike Hoop Summit. Tomorrow he plays in the Jordan Brand Classic, which features the top prep and international players.
Wroten is back in Charlotte and he talked to the Sporting News about being the latest of a long line of Seattle-area basketball stars.
Some of the players in the game will wear the new Air Jordan 2011 that was specifically developed for the JBC.
— Oregon made it official and signed junior college forward Carlos Emory.
— Utah adds an assistant and may lose another player. Three Utes (leading scorer Will Clyburn, freshman Preston Guiot and backup Antonio DiMaria) said they are transferring. According to ESPN 700 AM, new coach Larry Krystkowiak tried to poach assistant Alex Jensen from Saint Louis, but the former Utes star declined the offer. The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting Utah will hire Andy Hill to the coaching staff.
— Arizona Republic’s Doug Haller spoke to a NBA scout about Pac-10 NBA prospects and he had good things to say about Washington senior Matthew Bryan-Amaning.
