Had a chance to talk to former Washington player Spencer Hawes and Husky junior Isaiah Thomas (above) yesterday. They were two of four players on hand for a photo shoot to promote the H206 Charity Basketball Classic.
The NBA-sanctioned game will held 3:30 p.m. July 23 at KeyArena.
The website for the event (www.hoops206.com) will go live Monday. Until then you can find more information about the event on its Facebook page.
Former UW star Brandon Roy is one of the architects of the game. He’s recruited Seattle-area basketball stars Martell Webster, Aaron Brooks and Michael Dickerson, who committed to play in the exhibition game.
