According to the major recruiting sites, Zena Edosomwan, a 2012 power forward from North Hollywood, Calif., is scheduled to make an official trip to Washington on Oct. 22.
He visited USC and Harvard and plans to trip to California this week followed by Texas on Oct. 15.
The 225-pound senior at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles is considered a four-star recruit by Scout and ESPN, while Rivals gives him three stars.
Washington is also pursuing consensus five-star recruit Anthony Bennett, a 6 foot 7 and 230-pound power forward, who isn’t expected to make a decision until the regular signing period that begins in April.
The Huskies have also targeted 6-10 power forward Richard Peters, a consensus three-star recruit from Canada and Landen Lucas, a 6-8, 240-pounder out of Portland. Peters visited Washington State last week while Lucas plans to take a trip to Tennessee this week. He’s also considering UCLA.
Washington currently has just two openings on the 2012-13 roster and it appears as if one of the available scholarships will go to a big man. The other scholarship is presumably slated for Demarquise Johnson, a shooting guard from Michigan, who is visiting UNLV this week.
