Nate Robinson to lead UW alumni in game vs. Huskies

Washington will scrimmage a team comprised of former Huskies 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at Edmundson Pavilion. The game is open to the public.
The UW alumni include: Nate Robinson, Spencer Hawes, Jon Brockman, Will Conroy and Isaiah Thomas. NBA star Jamal Crawford is going to coach the alumni team.
This will be the second time the public can get a glimpse at the Huskies. The team held an intrasquad scrimmage for UW students last Friday.
Washington takes on Seattle Pacific in an exhibition Nov. 4.
In an interview with KJR-AM, coach Lorenzo Romar talked this morning about the game.
“This year with the lockout I thought it might be a good idea with our team instead of having our weekly scrimmage against each other, we’ll bring some of the guys that are hanging around in to scrimmage against our guys at the end of practice,” Romar told KJR-AM. “Those guys are trying to get into condition because they haven’t played a lot. So it’s kind of a win-win situation.”
