College basketball begins tonight

Arizona hosts Valparaiso at 6 p.m. (PST) tonight in the first game of the 2011-12 season for a Pac-12 team. The game is being televised by ESPNU.
The Wildcats posted a 1-1 record in exhibitions, losing to Seattle Pacific 69-68. They knocked off Humboldt State 60-51 last week.
The early games proved Arizona is still dealing with the loss of Pac-10 MVP Derrick Williams, who left school early and was taken No. 2 in the NBA draft.
