Pac-12 shutout of the polls

No California. No Stanford. And no Pac-12 team is ranked in either poll.
The last time the AP and USA Today/ESPN coaches top 25 poll didn’t include a Pac-10/12 team was Dec. 27, 2010.
The Cardinal (8-1) have lost just one game – a 69-63 defeat in front of a not-so neutral crowd at Madison Square Garden. It also has quality wins against Oklahoma State and North Carolina State. However, Stanford received just seven votes from the coaches – one fewer than Murray State – and 23 from the writers.
Cal, Arizona and Oregon State also received votes from the writers. Washington picked up three votes from the coaches.
Stanford is only Pac-12 team among the top 25 in the RPI rankings. The Cardinal is 25.
Interesting to note, Duke and Marquette are two and three in the RPI.
