An early look at NCAA tournament projections

Is it too early for bubble watching? Probably so, but what the heck.
Keep in mind, at this point last year Butler and Virginia Commonwealth – two Final Four participants – were unranked and not included in many bracket projections.
Still its interesting to take a look at what the so-called experts think about Washington, which has stumbled to a 4-3 start. It’s no surprise the Huskies have fallen out of many NCAA tournament projections.
Jerry Palm at CBSSports.com has three Pac-12 teams (Stanford, Cal and Arizona) making the Big Dance.
HERE’S A SAMPLING OF OTHER BRACKET PREDICTIONS:
The Bracket Matrix, which tabulates 18 bracket projections, says Washington is a No. 12 seed.
— The Huskies are a 10th seed and one of four Pac-12 teams in the tourney, according to 5Boroughsports.com.
Bracketville also has Stanford, Cal and Arizona.
— Washington is currently in the tourney, according to collegehoopsnet.com, but the Huskies are a bubble team.
— Interesting metric from Jabesblog, which compiles the record of 100 teams who potentially could make the tournament. UW is 0-3 and the Pac-12 is 7-19.
— ESPN’s bracket guru Joe Lunadi hasn’t posted an update since Nov. 9 so his projections aren’t relevant at this time.
