Aziz N’Diaye’s return may disrupt starting lineup

Lorenzo Romar said he’s ‘not 100 percent sure’ on Thursday’s starters.
One of the candidates – C.J. Wilcox – did not practice Tuesday after undergoing a root canal. The sophomore guard is expected to be available for the Pac-12 opener against Oregon State.
Romar didn’t go into great detail about the starting lineup.
He said junior center Aziz N’Diaye, who sat out two games and came off the bench in the last outing while recovering from a sprained right knee, is available to play and the team doesn’t need to monitor his minutes. N’Diaye played just 16 minutes last Thursday against Cal State Northridge.
Washington is going to need its 7-foot big man against an Oregon State front line that includes 6-10 center Angus Brandt, 6-8 shot blocker Devon Collier and Joe Burton, a 6-7 and 280-pound small forward.
Without N’Diaye, the Huskies started freshman guard Tony Wroten Jr., who came off the bench in the first eight games.
Washington’s other starters include: guards Abdul Gaddy, Terrence Ross, Wilcox and forward Darnell Gant.
