Pick & Roll! contest debuts Thursday

Because you asked for it, we finally created a contest where readers can pick Pac-12 men’s basketball games, track your scores, compare your results against other contestants and potentially win a $200 grand prize at the end of the season.
That’s right real money and not hot dogs and soft drinks.
We’re calling it Pick & Roll!.
Here’s how it works:
You play each week (for 10 weeks beginning with the games of Dec. 29 & 31, 2011) by guessing the outcome of Pac-12 conference men’s basketball games. Your lowest weekly score will be dropped, so only the nine highest weeks will count toward your overall points total. The contest is open to Washington residents only. For each week and before the cuttoff time, pick who you think will win.
One of the cool features is you’re able to create your own groups and compete with family or friends. We’ll also provide statistics throughout the season.
Thanks to everyone who inspired this idea. It’s not perfect and we were a little rushed to get it ready for the start of the Pac-12 season, but it should be a lot of fun.
Good luck.
