The Pac-12 named Washington’s Terrence Ross the conference’s Player of the Week.
The sophomore guard joins UW players C.J. Wilcox and Tony Wroten Jr. who won the award this season.
Ross averaged 21.0 points per game, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in two wins against Washington State and Seattle University.
He began the week with 12 points and six rebounds while helping the Huskies to a 91-83 win over the Redhawks.
On Sunday, Ross was nothing short of sensational while carrying Washington to a 75-65 comeback victory against the Cougars.
He scored a career-high 30 points, which is tied for the third most this season by a Pac-12 player. Ross scored 26 in the second half during an 18-minute explosion. He connected on six of 12 three-pointers in the game and flushed a highlight alley-oop dunk in the final minutes that sealed the outcome. Ross also collected 14 rebounds, a personal best.
Others nominated: Arizona’s Solomon Hill, California’s Justin Cobbs, Oregon’s Devoe Joseph, Stanford’s Josh Huestis and UCLA’s Travis Wear.
